I’m loving my new JLC MUT Moon 39 but I don’t anticipate wearing such a fine timepiece every day. I thought a watch winder would be the easiest way to maintain the correct moon-phase. I contacted the Beverly Hills Boutique for advice regarding the selection of a watch winder. Here is the reply from the Boutique: “As a company we do not recommend using a watch winder. We have found some winders to move too quickly or in some cases to create a magnetic field. My recommendation is to wind the watch periodically when not being worn or to anticipate setting the watch before wearing.“ So, I guess I’ll follow the Boutique’s advice and not buy a winder. | |
